Another snow/ice day!

In the past three weeks, I have had a snow day per week plus a stomach virus day, making my work weeks a little shorter. Prior to Christmas and the energy that flows into the class, I will make no complaint. Yesterday it was 41 degrees and rainy. This early morning 20 degrees and sleeting...you do the math--I got the call, and now we are just rolling out of bed.

Isla has been sleeping pretty well. We get her to bed around 10pm, and she wakes up around 3am for a feeding, and then again around 6am for another one. On days where I don't have to work, father and daughter usually make their way downstairs so mommy can sleep some more. Isla then goes into the swing, and I go back to sleep on the couch--just beautiful! There is something about Isla that causes a voice swing in Lindsay and I--our voices go high when we talk to her! (As demonstrated below)

As you can see--we think she is adorable!
